Help with Website Needed

Its been mentioned by a couple of people that this website might be a bit boring… a bit tired…..

Both are very valid comments. I think there are loads of things that can be done with an allotment based site like this. I just don’t have enough time to do it, well not alone.

It could be based around blog of the allotment year, from ‘broadbeans to brussels’. It should have more pictures; of prize winning veg, nature seen on the site…. etc. Basically if just needs more input, from more people.

Its a very simple site (based on WordPress), if you can type you can add to it. So please contact me via the ‘Contact Us’ section if you would like like to contribute.

Summer Show 2011

The Summer Show is just 2 weeks away: 11 June at 3.00 pm, St Margaret’s Church Hall, Putney Park Lane.

Please enter as many classes as you can, (its just 10p and entry). The more entries you have the greater the chance of winning, and the hall looks great when its really full of produce and flowers.

ALLOTMENT RENTS 2011

It’s that time of year. Rents are due on 1 April:

£17.50 per rod [full rate]
£13.50 per rod [concessionary rate]

Rent collection will take place at the Store on Site2 on the following Sundays: April 3, 10, 17, 24 and May 1

[Remember: There are also other charges: insurance, water rate and your RGS subscription]

Regrettably, if your rent is not paid within the 40-day period allowed in the Wandsworth rules (by 10 May) and you have not contacted me to explain, you will lose your plot and it will be offered to the next person at the top of the waiting list. Speak to us beforehand if you have a problem.

Wandsworth Borough Council has informed us that the rents due on 1 April 2011 will be
