About Roehampton Garden Society

Roehampton Garden Society welcomes anyone who shares our interest in gardening and growing things. We manage about 275 allotment plots across two sites in SW15 on behalf of  Enable (Wandsworth Borough Council).

Allotment plotholders are full members of RGS, and we have many associate members who garden from home. There is currently a waiting list for allotments/ full membership, but you can join as an associate member at any time.

We hold two annual shows, one in June and the other in September. Members of RGS and other interested local gardeners are encouraged to show flowers, fruit and vegetables, whilst the cooks display their prowess with seasonal ingredients.

​All members are invited to use our store, which is located on Site 2. This is run by our volunteers and is open on Sunday mornings. There is a full selection of gardening products and lots of friendly advice for gardening problems. We also share horticultural advice, topical information and RGS news by email and our Whats-App group.

​The society is run by a team of dedicated volunteers, and our president is Fleur Anderson, MP. We are proud to support a number of local charities, and we participate in the National Garden Scheme.
