Membership

Allotment plotholders are full members of RGS, but we have many associate members who garden from home. There is currently a waiting list for allotments/ full membership, but you can join as an associate member at any time. ​​

Full Members (Plotholders)

All plotholders are automatically full members. You pay an annual membership fee of £8 and an allotment rental cost, which is charged per 'square rod'.

 Associate Members

Associate membership is open to all and costs £4 per year. It's ideal if you are on the waiting list for an allotment plot, or live locally and prefer to garden from home.

Access to our Store

Our Store is located on Site 2 (the Pleasance site). You will find horticultural products at excellent competitive prices and a warm welcome! The Store is a community hub where members can share gardening experience and purchase competitively priced, environmentally sustainable products.

 

Our community
Join a local community of those interested in horticulture and the natural world. Keep in touch with the RGS through our website, Whatsapp and Instagram.

 

Our Shows

Members organise  horticultural shows twice a year. We encourage exhibits of flowers, fruit and vegetables from members, families and the local community: children, beginners and experts.

 

Participation in events
Come on our trips and enjoy visits to gardens and other events.

Store Opening Hours

Site 2 Store: Sunday from 10am to 12 noon

Site 3 Sheds: Sunday from 10:30am to 12:15pm.

Next Mega Skip Date

The next Wandsworth Mega-Skip in Putney Park Lane is on 29 August 2026 from 9am - 12pm (or when skip full).

Hosepipe Ban

There is a hosepipe ban in force on the allotments. You may use a hosepipe to water food crops on your allotment plot, but only if this cannot be reasonably done by a watering can.  If you are able you are expected to use a watering can.
