Roehampton Garden Society

Test Welcome

Roehampton Garden Society

welcomes anyone who shares our interest in gardening and growing things.
We manage about 250 allotment plots off Doverhouse Road on behalf of  Enable (Wandsworth Borough Council) and encourage membership from people who have a general interest in gardening. An allotment plotholder must be a full member of Roehampton Garden Society. You do not need to be a plotholder to join.

Join the RGS

The Society holds two Annual Shows, in June and September. There is a wide choice of classes for flowers, vegetables and cookery; also classes for novices and children.
Members receive a monthly e-mail newsletter giving horticultural advice, topical information and RGS news.
Friendly advice for gardening problems and a full selection of gardening products are available for members at our Store (next to 18 the Pleasance SW15 5HF). Come in and meet us.

What’s in Store

The store is well stocked with Country Natural Composted Manure which makes a great overwintering mulch.  But if you prefer you could also cover your beds with Weed Suppressant Fabric or sow a Green Manure like Field Beans.
There is also still time to sow Aquadulce Broad Beans and Meteor Peas as well as a wide variety of Salad Leaves.  There are also some discounted Flowering Alliums and the last of the Onion Sets for sale.
Also in stock are Greenhouse Cleaners and Winter Wash and Greasebands for fruit trees. And don’t forget to have a roll of Horticultural Fleece to hand over winter in case of frost.
